Your private life,
finally private.
Hidden, password-locked spaces for the conversations that matter most. Encrypted by default. Yours, completely.
Built to keep you safe in real life.
Subtext was built for people in danger. Multiple spaces hide your chats — so even if someone takes your phone, they find nothing.
Infinity Space
A hidden, password-locked space inside the app. Switch identities with one tap. Invisible to anyone who picks up your phone.
End-to-end encrypted
Only you and the people you trust can read your messages. Nobody in between — not even us.
Lightning fast
Messages, reactions, and read receipts deliver instantly. No lag, no waiting around.
Private group chats
Create groups for your closest people. Same encryption. Same privacy. Just more friends.
Rich conversations
React with emojis, reply to anything, forward with a tap. Conversations that feel alive.
Dark & light modes
Switch between themes with one tap. Looks great whether you chat in the morning or at night.
Request before chat
Nobody can message you without permission first. No spam, no strangers, no surprises.
One tap to disappear.
Subtext lets you flip between spaces instantly. If someone grabs your phone, they see a completely different app — your real chats stay hidden, locked, and safe.
Conversations that feel effortless
A clean, fast chat experience designed to get out of your way. Send messages, react with emojis, reply with quoted bubbles — everything just works.
A private space hidden in plain sight
One password flip and you're in a completely separate world. Your real chats vanish — replaced by a decoy space that looks normal. If someone forces you to unlock your phone, they see nothing that can hurt you.
You decide who reaches you
Nobody can message you without sending a request first. Approve who gets through. No spam, no strangers, no surprises.
Every chat, fully encrypted
See exactly who you're talking to. End-to-end encryption status visible at a glance. Block any contact in a single tap.
Private groups, your way
Create a group with the people you trust. Same encryption, same privacy — now with everyone you love in one place.
Full control, always at hand
Manage your identity, switch between dark and light, toggle visibility, and review blocked contacts — all in one place.
Your conversations stay yours.
We built Subtext on a single rule: your private life is not anyone else's business. Here's how we keep that promise.
Encrypted on your device
Your messages are scrambled before they ever leave your phone. Nobody, anywhere, can read them — except the person you sent them to.
Your data stays yours
Infinity Space passwords never leave your device. Your hidden conversations are locked locally — outside our reach, always.
Be invisible when you want
Hide your online status with a single tap. No one knows when you're around unless you choose to let them.
Block anyone, instantly
Mute, block, remove. Your social space is yours to control — no questions asked, no explanations needed.
Privacy isn't a feature. It's the whole point.
We don't sell your data. We don't read your messages. We don't have ads. Subtext is built for the people who use it — that's the only metric that matters to us.
